And thus, school continues

My quarter has definitely been busy. Lots of reading, studying, and just trying to keep up with my 15 credit quarter. Not too smart of me to do 15 during Winter quarter, might I add. Anyways, yeah. My life is boring.

A quick update on my life

So, if I recall correctly, my last post was about Chinese and how it owns my face? Yes, that’s a question, because I’m about to answer that myself (after I look at my page…) Yes. Chinese. I’m up to about 300 characters, although I’ve probably forgotten 299 of them during Winter break. Sadface.

Since then, I’ve taken 3 finals. My final scores are as followed: Chinese, a 2.6. I’ll do better next time. Computer Science, a 2.5. I expected less. Geology, a 3.2. Pathetic when you realize it’s known as ‘Rocks for Jocks’. I have no clue what I spent all my time on. Probably Facebook. Geez I’m bad at school.

Anyways, after school, I went and saw Avatar in 3D. Yeah, it was good, but nothing I haven’t seen before. As said by many, it’s just another FernGully. Still haven’t seen Ninja Assassin. For Christmas I got some clothes and giftcards. I also got a free 7 days of WoW. Used that up. Don’t judge.

Today I’m supposed to go get a haircut (which I want to do. I look like a hobo) and go to Walmart to use one of my giftcards. Woohoo.

Tomorrow, I’m supposed to head to a friend’s New Years shindig. Dunno how I’ll get there since my car still isn’t done yet. Probably public commute if it is running, or my truck. Don’t really wanna buy gas, though…

That’s pretty much my life in a nutshell. It’s actually much more eventful than it looks, I’m just not going to write about it all.

But in all seriousness, I’ve learned a load of Chinese. Fun class, great professor. And I thought I was gonna be miserable. Kek. I love all my class this quarter. They’re all fun and interesting, despite my falling asleep constantly. Thank you, Jesus.

I does gud in Chinkinese. I think I will now start using my Tumblr as a Twitter and only write blogs of <120 characters.

Lately, lifes had its ups and downs. I’m pretty sure I failed my first physics midterm, but then again I found out I’m a beast when it comes to salsa dancing. Two lessons in and I’m rocking that dance floor. Yeah. I’m good =D

Other than that, life is pretty much the same old same old. I go to school, work out, and play games. I wish my life had something more interesting, but hey, I’m also happy that my life doesn’t suck miserably. Thank God for that.

So here I am on my computer, at school. Summer school is soooo lax, whether I wanted it or not. I basically lounge around and do homework when I’m bored of being bored. Yeah. Summer school…

On a side note, I’m learning to salsa dance.

Summer is here, folks

Whether we like it or not, whether we asked for it 6 months ago or not, Summer is here. No, I’m not talking about that girl. I’m talking about heat waves, sweat days, and bikini-clad women hanging out at Wild Waves.

I was one of those who asked for it, but I am also one of those who are hating it now that it’s here. I was happy when it started: 70 degree weather, sun shining, women not wearing more than 1 layer of clothes, but now it’s just ridiculous. 85 degrees every day, and a huge sweat the moment I wake up. Some readers may be like “85? That’s all? I’m shivering when it’s like that!” Screw you, I’m not used to it.

Anyways, school year is about to end. I expect around a 3.3 average this quarter. One day I’ll go fully Asian and get that 4.0 everyone thinks I should be getting. Maybe this summer. Probably not, though. Too hot. I’ll be working out instead. Oh yeah. Summer goal: get ripped.

Barbecueeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Well, sort of. Today we celebrated Jordan’s birthday at Golden Garden Park. A freaking hour+ bus ride for me. But it was worth it with hours of volleyball and tons of junk food. Plus I was in charge of grilling burgers. I like to think of myself as a pro =D

Anyways, I grilled those babies like a monster. Start with nearly no flame. Nearly all the grills were taken and we managed to get another birthday party to let us use their grill, as they were mostly done with it. They had no extra coal or anything, so it was basically one live coal, me, and 24 burger patties. Using what little knowledge I have, I determined that I could increase the size of the fire by letting fat drip from the burgers into the dead coals. It worked. I grilled 24 burgers with nothing more than a single live coal.

Ok, that is my “L0L I R R0X0R” paragraph.

Anyways, happy birthday to Jordan, even though his birthday was last Tuesday. He made a great party with some good Christian fun. Even though I think I pulled my forearm. Gotta <3 volleyball injuries.
