McDonald’s Japan now serving bacon potato pies (apple pie style)
Japan, you crazy mofos. Why do you make this? Are you trying to make me come over there and stay forever?
Whether we like it or not, whether we asked for it 6 months ago or not, Summer is here. No, I’m not talking about that girl. I’m talking about heat waves, sweat days, and bikini-clad women hanging out at Wild Waves.
I was one of those who asked for it, but I am also one of those who are hating it now that it’s here. I was happy when it started: 70 degree weather, sun shining, women not wearing more than 1 layer of clothes, but now it’s just ridiculous. 85 degrees every day, and a huge sweat the moment I wake up. Some readers may be like “85? That’s all? I’m shivering when it’s like that!” Screw you, I’m not used to it.
Anyways, school year is about to end. I expect around a 3.3 average this quarter. One day I’ll go fully Asian and get that 4.0 everyone thinks I should be getting. Maybe this summer. Probably not, though. Too hot. I’ll be working out instead. Oh yeah. Summer goal: get ripped.
Can’t think. I end this now.
Well, sort of. Today we celebrated Jordan’s birthday at Golden Garden Park. A freaking hour+ bus ride for me. But it was worth it with hours of volleyball and tons of junk food. Plus I was in charge of grilling burgers. I like to think of myself as a pro =D
Anyways, I grilled those babies like a monster. Start with nearly no flame. Nearly all the grills were taken and we managed to get another birthday party to let us use their grill, as they were mostly done with it. They had no extra coal or anything, so it was basically one live coal, me, and 24 burger patties. Using what little knowledge I have, I determined that I could increase the size of the fire by letting fat drip from the burgers into the dead coals. It worked. I grilled 24 burgers with nothing more than a single live coal.
Ok, that is my “L0L I R R0X0R” paragraph.
Anyways, happy birthday to Jordan, even though his birthday was last Tuesday. He made a great party with some good Christian fun. Even though I think I pulled my forearm. Gotta <3 volleyball injuries.
I realized that I do not blog enough. Like the first page is like over 3 months old. So, he’s an update on my life.
My grades in my only two classes are decent. I scored an 86/100 on my last physics midterm while the average was 71.9 with a 14 standard devation, which means I’m just above it resulting in a very good score. My last calculus test, as said in the previous post, went well in my opinion. Possible 100% here.
Other stuff… I r pwnz0r @ Halo3 nao. Ish. I also started playing DotA. Those are pretty much the only games I play now.
I finished seasons 1 and 2 of Burn Notice. For those of you who don’t know what Burn Notice is, it’s basically about a spy who gets fired and is on a mission to find out why and get his life back. It’s gooooooooooooooooooooood.
My love life is still quite… boring. The stalkee still has no clue. JUST KIDDING! Of course she knows… Seriously, I’m kidding. My love life is empty.
Over the summer I’ll be taking more classes. Calculus, physics, and some architecture class. I think it’s like 13 credits. Oh yeah, I’ll be living in Terry over the summer.
Then in fall, I’ll be taking matrix algebra, and a couple computer science classes. And I’ll be living in McMahon, like Andy, Gabe, Ryan, Brent, etc etc etc etc.
/End
I feel gooooood about my last Calculus midterm. As I took it, I went into almost a trance and just radiated integrals. Never once did I stop and think “Oh dang. What should I do now?” All my answers seem very likely and I came out feeling like a rockstar.
If I did, in fact, do well, I will celebrate. Bacon explosion, me thinks.
Anything that rotates is the work of Satan. Figuring out moments of inertia, angular speeds and accelerations… It sucks.
So here I go.
Just trying to get a good grade in math and physics. Physics is now easier than math. Also, after college I will throw away my degree in computer engineering and make sushi as a career. Mkay? So when I open my restaurant, come by and buy stuff so I can survive. I promise to keep my prices relatively cheap.
Man I suck at keeping up with blogs.
Okie, so here’s the downlow of my life thus far.
I’m still in academic probation, I’m playing HvZ (Google it, motha fuckas), and stuff.
That’s about it in a nutshell.
My Huskies lost today against Purdue. Our dreams ended in the second round of the tournament. I am sad. Still, I hope this triggers a domino effect of better and better basketball in my school. Next year, I know we will make it to the Sweet 16, or maybe even the Elite 8. I have high hopes for my school in all sports, really. It’s becoming a very fine place to be, and a great place to be proud of.

Yesterday’s NYC chart got such a great response and I didn’t want the rest of the country to feel left out. And, yes, I know some of these shows aren’t exactly sitcoms, but it helped to fill out some of those lonely blank spaces.
