Preparing for the next Zombie Invasion
At my school, we play this game called ‘Humans versus Zombies Tag’. Like, 50 other schools play it, too. Basic idea is that you get a whole bunch of people and 1 zombie. That zombie tags people, who then become zombies. Zombies must tag a human once every 48 hours or they die. Game ends when there are no humans left or the zombies die out. Cool part about staying human: you get to shoot zombies with Nerf guns.
Childish past time or insanity? Well, if you have a puny Nerf gun like you used to when you were a kid, it’s childish. When you do what I did, you’re just plain mad.

I bought one of those. Further yet, I modified it. By replacing the 6 D batteries with a single 9.6v RC car battery, I managed to more than double the voltage, thus increasing its shots-per-second by about double. Also, by replacing those D batteries, it is MUCH lighter, so I can carry it around easier. All I need now is a way to make the belts not jam…
Anyways, most people think I’m crazy for getting this just for a game of tag. Truth is that they are right. I am insane. But so were the Spartans! And just like the Spartans, I bet I can take on hundreds of enemies at the same time now. Ok, maybe not hundreds… But a couple dozen probably.
Well, it’s not like I’ll be out in the open all day and night defending myself. I’ll be in safe zones, too. I’ll use routes to classes I never even dreamed of. I’ll even wake up earlier to avoid traffic. I’ll simply be ready for anything that happens to come my way.
